Every part brand new or reconditioned. Every panel rust-proofed. Every restoration a labour of love.
Start Your Restoration
We will take your dilapidated MG or start with a Heritage body-shell and build you a fully refurbished MG. It takes weeks of meticulous work to bring a Heritage body shell up to our exacting standards.
Everything is brand new or reconditioned. All are replacement parts so the identity of the car remains the same. The car is rust-proofed to modern standards using the latest materials to ensure a long life.
We follow a thorough, structured schedule when rebuilding an MGB Roadster or MGBGT. Here's an overview of the key stages:
Heritage body shell or customer's own — stripped back, seam-sealed, stone-chipped underneath, and primed. Every seam properly treated to modern rust-prevention standards.
Engine, gearbox, axles, and suspension are stripped, inspected, and rebuilt using new or reconditioned parts. Shock absorbers, king pins, springs, and all bushes renewed.
Your chosen engine — standard 4-cylinder or Rover V8 — is fitted along with a new stainless exhaust system, wiring loom.
The shell is painted in your chosen colour. All panels are fitted and aligned to our exacting standards. Chrome and trim are fitted after painting.
Full carpet set, hood (on roadsters), dash, and instrumentation — all fitted to specification.
The completed car is thoroughly inspected and road-tested before handover. Only when we are fully satisfied does it leave the workshop.
Visits Encouraged — We firmly believe in keeping customers informed throughout the build. You are always welcome to visit the workshop and see your car taking shape. Please contact us first to arrange a time.
